HomeWelcome To StLucia-SouthAfrica.com!
Or should we just say: " Welcome to St Lucia" , because that's what's this site is actually all about!
The Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park was declared as South Africa's first natural World Heritage Site on 1st December 1999.
Our town has the warm Indian ocean on it's Eastern border and vast wilderness areas run north, south and west of this quaint village. The tantalizing warm Indian Ocean waters allow travellers to enjoy clean beaches throughout the year. But besides this, by our visitors highly appreciated quality, these warm water have created an interesting onshore tropical climate, that can be explored for a variety of wildlife. But it is not only these facts why St Lucia should be one of the "Been there, Done that" flags on any globetrotters map, or what makes it a destination for the novice and not-so-well travelled too.
There are a variety of activities available for any visitor, including amongst others:
-whale watching
Besides the fact that we've got it all, we also have the infrastucture and the people to make sure that you enjoy your St Lucia experience to the fullest!
Each business selected for this website will go the extra mile to ensure your stay in St. Lucia is pleasurable. So, even though you may have abandoned your apartment in the Big Apple (New York) for a night under the stars in tented bushcamp, you will still get the "sense of place" feeling. Because you will be sharing the "space" of mankind's ancestral birth ground, that took place some 200 000 years ago!
And we hope to welcome you back next week. |
